JoEllen: Always giant sunglasses and legwarmers, they instantly make me happy, but especially Carmella's brown floral jacket from “The Legend of Santa Susanna”.
William: Narratively, the “You Light Up My Life” nightgown Danielle wryly dons in “Brite”.
JoEllen: Making up silly songs in between takes, Liz pretending to try and get hit by a car in “Brite”.
William: Coming up with Tina/Danielle's unfortunate hair-do for “Brite”.
JoEllen: Not fitting in, fun packaging for food/drinks, fashion layouts, incidental items/props that tell the truth about a character.
William: Unspoken truths (‘n stuff), fashion magazines, German things for no good reason.
JoEllen: He is always “on”. He's a well of constantly moving ideas in which we fill our bucket.
William: She is arty and crafty, and has a wider knowledge of the world than I do, and sings songs about shirts and the number 14.
JoEllen: Cadbury Crème Eggs and pom pom tennis socks.
William: A solid chocolate bunny, jelly beans, egg-shaped pastel malted milk balls, cool sunglasses and a surprise.
JoEllen: Long, bright blue with piecey/chunky layers in a banana clip.
